Thank you for sharing your experience...it deeply resonated with me as I am entering year 6 of living in Jamaica (I was born and raised in California...Bay Area) and I have no regrets at all about leaving. Like you mentioned, it's not always easy but I have found living abroad to be one of the most enriching and profound experiences in my life.
